Privacy First - Our Core Principle
Your files never leave your device. All file processing happens entirely in your browser using your own device’s computing power. We operate no servers that receive, handle, or store your files.
We believe in minimal data collection. Here’s what we never collect, store, or transmit:
- ✕Your files or their contents — documents, PDFs, images, videos, audio, spreadsheets, or any other data you process with our tools
- ✕Text, passwords, keys, or other inputs you type into any tool
- ✕Personal information (name, email, address, phone number) — except what you voluntarily send us through the contact form, explained in “Contact & Updates” below
- ✕User accounts or login credentials — the Service has no accounts
- ✕First-party analytics, tracking pixels, or behavioural profiles
Please note: like any website, delivering this site to your browser and — only if you consent — showing advertising involves limited technical processing by our hosting provider and by Google. This is explained honestly in the “Hosting & Technical Data” and “Third-Party Advertising” sections below.
AnyTool is a static web application. When your browser requests the site, our hosting infrastructure (a content-delivery network) may transiently process your IP address and standard request metadata (browser type, requested URL, timestamp) as a technical necessity of delivering any website. This happens on every website on the internet.

- ✓We run no first-party analytics of any kind
- ✓Your files are never part of any request — processing happens after the page loads, entirely on your device
When you use any of our tools — PDF, image, video, audio, file, text, or otherwise — here’s exactly what happens:
- 1File Selection: You select files from your device.
- 2Local Processing: Your browser processes the files using Web Workers, WebAssembly and JavaScript libraries (e.g. pdf-lib, pdfjs-dist, ffmpeg.wasm, canvas APIs) running on your own device.
- 3Download: The processed file is saved directly to your device.
Technical Guarantee: Our tools work offline after the initial page load. This proves that no server communication is required for file processing.
We use browser local storage for the following purposes only:
Consent Preferences (anytool-consent)
Whether you've accepted or rejected advertising cookies.
Favorites & Recent Tools (anytool-favorites, anytool-recent)
The tools you star as favourites and your recently used tools, so the interface can personalise itself — stored only on your device.
Saved Workflows
Custom workflow configurations you create (stored in IndexedDB).
Theme Preference (anytool-theme)
Your light/dark mode preference.
Tool Engines & AI Models (browser cache)
For offline use and speed, your browser caches the app and tool engines — including AI model files (e.g. for audio transcription) that run entirely on your device. These are program files, not your data, and can be cleared anytime via your browser settings.
This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
We display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this service. If you consent to advertising:
- •Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads
- •You can manage your ad personalization at Google Ads Settings
- •You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through our consent banner
If you consent, Google's advertising scripts load in your browser and Google may process your IP address, ad identifiers and page context to serve and measure ads, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. We never share your files or tool inputs with Google — advertising is entirely separate from tool processing.
If you reject advertising consent, we do not load any third-party advertising scripts at all.
Because we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or export — rights under regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA are satisfied by design. You can always:

- ✓Use the site in private/incognito mode
- ✓Block all cookies and still use every tool on the site
- ✓Change your advertising consent preferences at any time

The Contact Form
When you use our contact form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, a message, and optionally a phone number and company. This information is transmitted through EmailJS (an email-delivery service) solely to deliver your message to us and allow us to reply. We use it only to respond to your inquiry — never for marketing — and we do not sell or share it. Correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your request. If you prefer, you can email us directly instead. Please never include files or sensitive documents in messages — our tools run on your device, so we never need them to help you.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and because the tools themselves collect no personal data, we do not knowingly process any child’s personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
