How the Memory Matching Game Works
AnyTool Memory Game is the classic concentration (pairs) game, played entirely in the browser. A grid of cards starts face down, each hiding one of a set of paired symbols. On each move you flip two cards: if they show the same symbol the pair locks in place revealed; if they differ they flip back face down after a short delay so you can memorise their positions. The game is won when every pair is matched. You choose a difficulty — Easy 4×3 (6 pairs), Medium 4×4 (8 pairs), Hard 6×4 (12 pairs) or Expert 6×6 (18 pairs) — and a symbol theme (animals, food, symbols or smileys), and a live bar tracks your moves, elapsed time and pairs found.
- Flip two cards per move; matches stay, mismatches flip back
- Four difficulties from 4×3 (6 pairs) to 6×6 (18 pairs)
- Four themes built from unicode symbols — no external assets
- Input is locked while a mismatched pair is shown so you can study it
- Win by clearing the whole board; a modal shows your final stats
