Only PDFs that already contain interactive AcroForm fields can be auto-filled. Flat scans, image-only PDFs and XFA/LiveCycle dynamic forms are not supported here; those need OCR, a full PDF editor, or the original form software.
The PDF is read and written entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No file bytes are transmitted, logged or stored on any server, so sensitive forms stay on your machine.
